It is an important instrument for demonstrating interference, diffraction and polarization of light in a middle school physics laboratory. An intense source of parallel light is formed by means of the light system with a 12V50W halogen tungsten lamp. Demonstrations of interference, diffraction and polarization may be effectively performed even in an exposed classroom.
