To study the relationship among friction, pressure, surface characteristics, material, and surface area and speed

 

Specification components:

 

1.    Friction test bed:  (1) Bench, (2) 110V/220V Power cord (3) Power switch (4) Large winch shaft (5) Small winch shaft (6) Thin thread with hooks (7) Force measurement meter: accuracy of 0.02N.

2.  The loading platform: High-quality aluminum alloy, 165x115xmm, with hook nail.

3.  Friction plate: One aluminum plate with one side attached velvet: one acrylic plate.

4.  Friction objects: One of aluminum alloy, weight 1N, one of copper, weight 1N, with one side Attached velvet.  There are two copper block surfaces (copper and cloth) and four aluminum alloy surfaces for the experiment, as shown in picture, where A and B side should be grounded into smooth surface with fine sandpaper, C and D surface into rough  surface with a thick coarse sandpaper.

5.  Weights: 4 pieces, each 1N.
